Trent Green still is a Pro Bowl caliber quarterback.

Green got the next eight weeks out of the game, but he can still make a difference, because of his precise, strong arm and his great leadership skills. But Damon Huard is r-signed in Kansas City and Brodie Croyle is waiting in the wings and Green has no longer room in his $7.2 million price tag for this season.
The possibilities for Green this season are:
Miam, Cleveland, Kansas City and Detroit. But our statistics show that he would most likely end up in Cleveland, where he is the ideal fit. He would produce miracles for the team.
One of the three teams in the NFL that don’t have a top 40 quarterback on their rooster are the Browns and Cleveland knows Green’s potential. In week 13 last year Trent torched the Browns for 297 yards and four TDs.
Charlie Frye could develop but his redzone mistakes last year were beyond limit. Green is already a veteran and would be a good presence for other players a little bit superficial and unfocused, players like Braylon Edwards and Kallen Winslow Jr.
I couldn’t agree more with Trent Green going to Cleveland. This might be a very important step for the Browns.
