Shaun MurphyShaun Murphy made an extraordinary comeback beating Matthew Stevens with the final score 13-12. The 24-year-old player had the best comeback ever because he win the 1/4 final after Stevens was in charge with the score 12-6. Murphy won 7 games in a row reminding in some way the final from 2005 when he had a tremendous comeback victory after a deficit of 4 games (10-6 for Stevens).

Shaun is probably looking forward for the next game. He will face Mark Selby in the semifinals. I want to say I like both Murphy and Stevens, and I wished they wouldn’t face in the quarter finals. I support Shaun Murphy and I hope he will triumph again this year.

Eagles mistakenly gives $3M to Brian Westbrook

Brian Westbrook double paidPhiladelphia Eagles have done an accounting gaffe when they paid $3M to Brian Westbrook, not once, but twice. The problem is that Westbrook mentioned he will pay them back all the money but it looks like no cent entered the Eagles’ accounts so they had to file a grievance to the NFL.

Brian Westbrook extended his contract and signed for another 5 years with the Eagles during the 2005 season for the sum of $24.9 million. Westbrook, born on September 2, 1979 in Fort Washington, Maryland is currently a running back and I would be afraid of trying to get something from that guy, even if it’s $3million.
